121: A GOOD VEINED MOTTLED ROYAL DOULTON FLAMBE VASE

A fiery example of this technique developed by Charles Noke and Fred Moore in the 1920s that produces glaze effects in which no two pieces are alike. Markings under the base of Royal Doulton Logo over "Flambé" over "Veined" over "1S18". Measures 9.75 x 6.5 inches.
A 2.5-inch scratch on the bulbous side of the vase. Otherwise very good, no chips, cracks or repairs.
