After the painting by Saint-Memin in the American Philosophical Society, printed circa 1839, published for McKenney and Hall's 'Indian Tribes of North America', title and legend below the image read: Sha-Ha-Ka Published by E.C. Biddle, Philadelphia. Printed & Coloured at I.T. Bowen's Lithographic Establishment No. 94 Walnut St. Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1837 by E.C. Biddle in the Clerk's office of the District Court of the Eastern District of Penna. Sight size through the mat measures 15.5 x 10.75 inches, 21.25 x 16.25 inches overall.
