A circa 1900 neo-classical porcelain plaque depicting a Roman battle scene with classical figures in white against a dark green ground, impressed markings verso of the abbey trademark with Mettlach Gescesch 7031 7 and 07. Measures 11.5 x 20.25 inches, 13.5 x 25.75 inches.

Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of wear or discoloration. There are two short original factory firing lines back side only, one with a very small corresponding corner flake. No actual damage.
