A massive circa 1900 carved and fumed oak tall clock with angular molded crown framing a carved male Northwind-type face in high relief, two massive rope twist columns, beveled glass framed by scroll carvings in relief, plinth base with outset molding clad in hammered iron. Silvered metal dial with embossed spandrels squaring the half-round embossed chapter ring with black Arabic numerals, signed on the time and strike movement and gong bracket for Gebruder Wilde, ornate embossed silvered metal weights and pendulum bob. Measures 91 x 29 inches.
