20: A 19TH CENTURY MARINE CHRONOMETER SIGNED DENT
The mahogany case with brass mounts houses an 2-day marine chronometer signed on the dial for chronometer maker to the king Dent in London, Up-Down indicator, seconds dial with Arabic numerals, Montgomery outer dial, circa 1875, suspended in brass gimbals. Case measures 7.5 x 7.25 x 7.25 inches.
