48: A SILVER PLATE CENTERPIECE WITH CUT CRYSTAL

Quadripartite stand raised on four well-defined paw feet headed by stylized scrolls and rosettes supporting four horned goat head monopodiae terminating in paw foot, the heads linked by a pierced Bacchanalia theme motif band of grape clusters and leaves which supports a low shallow cut crystal bowl of diamond point cuts. Measures 9 x 11 x 8 inches.
Very good condition throughout, noting wear to the base metal of the plated portions to the point of a mellow patina. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, discoloration or heavy wear to the glass portion. No loss, damage or repair to the metalwork portion.
