220: AN UNUSUAL WATCHMAKER TRADE SIGN IN FORGED IRON HANGER

The two-sided model of a pocket watch with ornate zinc bezel and semi-circular tabs touting CLOCKS, WATCHES, JEWELRY in raised letters at 3,6 and 9, zinc insert representing the watch face with hand painted Roman numeral chapter ring, hands and depiction of a seconds bit, suspended in a period forged iron harp with spike base.
Watch measures 19 x 15.5, the hanger is 36 x 18 inches.
Very good condition, noting some scattered light re-touch of white on dials, there are no issues of damage or repair. only one layer of old gold paint is visible.
