712: ANSONIA 'OPERA' STATUE CLOCK WITH CLASSICAL FIGURE

The spelter allegorical figure for Opera beside a circular tower with time and strike movement fronted by a metal dial with painted black ground and numerals enclosing an exposed escapement all on a black enameled platform raised on paw feet.
Measures 16 x 17.5 x 7.5 inches.
Good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. The figure retains the original finish as do most of the spelter mounts, original black paint on the platform with some scattered chips.
