360: CARVED, GESSOED FIGURE OF MARY WITH 19C. VENETIAN SHELF

The carved, gessoed and painted figure of Mary with glass eyes, painted canvas robe and wood base attached by nails with cr0ss-hatch pattern on their head, age unknown.

Plus a very nice early 19th century carved and gessoed Venetian shelf, the top with cross-hatch pattern and coved edge, outset corners over dentilated pattern above mirror tablet flanked by two large scroll and acanthus brackets having ebonised panels of inlaid with brass foliate scrolls on four sides, great overall look with wear to the gold showing red foundation, the original hand-chamfered back.
The shelf is 15 x 16 x 8.5 inches. Mary measures 13 inches.
Very good condition, noting surface chips and losses as shown in the images, there are no issues of actual damage or repair.
