The straight-sided open crock with lug handles and thick freehand blue slip decoration of a mythical long-necked bird between spiral devices, one with blue slip dots populated by a trail of dots form the mouth of the 'Goony' bird, impressed numeral 6 and mark of M. WOODRUFF, CORTLAND of New York.
Measures 12.75 x 13.5 inches across the handles.
Considerable chips, spalling, crack and handle roughness as shown.
