22: A SHASAVAN SOUMAK WEAVE BAG FACE CIRCA 1910

The field with two columns of three octagonal medallions each enclosing stylized flora forms and vines within an ivory border enclosing continuous hexagonal cartouches linked to bracket vines, a colorful diagonal banded outer surround frames the weaving with the original flat weave enclosure band.
Measures 26 x 24 inches.
Very good condition, intact original sides and ends, good even weave, no pet stain, odor or hardened areas. No damage or repair, dry and dusty with surface debris.
