30: AN INTACT NORTHWEST PERSIAN KURDISH DOUBLE BAG
Each of the early 20th century pile woven bag faces with dark blue field and an all over design of interlocking offset rows of lozenges each enclosing a hooked flower head inside dark blue border with continuous octagons, an ivory inner border enclosing continuous meandering vines linking plants - all in nice jewel tones of color; the reverse with flat woven horizontal bands with serrated edged medallions outlined in woven colors, plus some embroidered panels.
Measures 51 x 26 inches.
Scattered edge and end wear, separations, minor mothing and small holes to each, oxidized browns, old macramé repair at the main joint, urine stain to one, dry and dusty with surface debris.
